Recently, the reporter learned from the cableway project department of Meiling Cloud Scenic Area that the construction of the project is progressing smoothly, and the civil engineering of the entire line support foundation has been completed by 50%.
Li Hongjian, the technical director of the installation unit for the Meiling Cloud Scenic Area Cableway Project, said, "Currently, the cableway line we are constructing has a total length of 5580 meters from the lower station to the upper station, with a height difference of 710 meters. There are a total of 30 support foundations along the line. Currently, 20 support foundation excavations have been completed, 13 have been poured, and the remaining infrastructure construction work is expected to be completed by late November
The Meiling Cloud Scenic Area Cableway Project is a key project for our bureau to promote the "bringing mountains into the city" work, improve the transportation conditions of Meiling Scenic Area, and enhance the ecological construction level of Meiling. The horizontal distance of the cableway line is 5580 meters, with a height difference of 710 meters. There are 30 line supports, divided into three station buildings: upper, middle, and lower. The specific construction content includes cableway station building construction project, cableway equipment and installation, etc. After the completion of the Meiling Cloud Scenic Area Cableway Project, it will bring tourists a more convenient and unique travel experience, further enhancing the attractiveness and competitiveness of the scenic area.
